Venous Symposium Features Dr. Peter Pappas as Keynote Speaker

NEW YORK – The Venous Symposium takes place May 8-11 this year at the Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel. Dr. Peter Pappas will give the keynote address on ‘New Frontiers in the Vein and Lymphatic Disease’ on Friday, May 10.

Dr. Peter J. Pappas is a board certified General and Vascular Surgeon who graduated from UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in 1987. Dr. Pappas completed his General Surgery Residency at Cooper Hospital University Medical Center, a Robert Wood Johnson affiliate, in 1993. He subsequently completed his Vascular Surgery Fellowship at UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School (NJMS). He then remained at UMDNJ-NJMS as a faculty member for the next 15 years.

Dr. Pappas now serves on the team at the Center for Vein Restoration. With 23 years of experience in the field of venous insufficiency, Dr. Pappas is still motivated everyday by improving the lives of patients with venous disease and training the next generation of Venous Disease Specialists.

The Venous Symposium, now in its 15th year, is the premier international conference on issues and treatment related to vein pathology. This symposium delivers practical education and updates on the current knowledge and management of venous disease.
