Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
ATHENS — Greece and Spain agree on the majority of matters relating to the common policies in the context of European Union, stated Alternate Foreign Minister Miltiadis Varvitsiotis on Tuesday after meeting with Spanish Deputy Foreign Minister responsible for EU issues Juan Gonzalez Barba, who is visiting Athens.

"I want to reassure you that there are many things that unite us with Spain, a strong bond of friendship and shared views on the vast majority of issues," Varvitsiotis said.
On his part, Juan Gonzalez Barba also confirmed that Greece and Spain share the same views on all issues.
The Spanish minister made his statements in Greek as he has spent a large part of his life in Greece and said that this trip means a lot to him as it was a personal opportunity to come back to Greece.
