V. Rev. Archimandrite Chrysostomos Gilbert Appointed Dean of Archdiocesan Cathedral

NEW YORK – His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros appointed the Very Reverend Archimandrite Chrysostomos Gilbert as the new Dean of the Archdiocesan Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New York City.

Fr. Chrysostomos, who succeeds the Rev. Fr. Nikolas Karloutsos, had previously served eight years as the presiding priest of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Manhattan. In 2021, he became the first recipient of Leadership 100’s Leadership Development Grant and spent the next year pursuing studies in the Greek language in Thessaloniki.

Fr. Chrysostomos’s new appointment is effective October 1, 2022.
