US, Israeli Delegations Meet Greek Armed Forces Chief at DEFEA 2021

ATHENS — The chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff, General Konstantinos Floros, had a meeting with a U.S. delegation made up of Heidi H. Grant,Director of Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA), and Elizabeth F. Wilson, Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Defense Exports & Cooperation, during the international defence exhibition DEFEA 2021 in Athens.

The meeting was held on Tuesday, the first day of the exhibition, and focused on issues of mutual interest with emphasis on current regional and international developments and their repercussions on security and stability in the Eastern Mediterranean and the Balkans.

Also on Tuesday, General Floros met with an Israeli defence ministry delegation that included Haim Cohen, Shahar Rachela Horev and Amira Ilany, Director Europe & North America Division at SIBAT, who were accompanied by Israeli military attache Colonel IDF Yosef Pinto. The discussion was on issues of mutual interest with emphasis on military cooperation.
