Update: Congress Funds DHS for 7 Days

WASHINGTON, DC — After stunning its leaders with a rejection to fund the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) late Friday afternoon, the House of Representatives and the Senate, literally two hours before the midnight deadline, voted to fund DHS for another 7 days as they scramble to find a longer-term solution.
