UN’s Eide Praises France on Talks

Espen Barth Eide, the Special Adviser to the UN Secretary-General on Cyprus, praised France`s support for the reunification talks.

“A statement issued by the SG`s Good Offices Mission in Cyprus said Eide met with the French Minister of Foreign Affairs Jean-Marc Ayrault and briefed the minister on the progress made so far as well as on current challenges in the process. He thanked France for its strong support to the United Nations facilitated peace talks in Cyprus.” CNA reported.
