UN Official Returns for New Meeting

Espen Barth Eide, the UN Secretary-General`s Special Adviser arrived in Cyprus on March 23 in advance of a new meeting between the leaders of the two communities on March 28.

“UN Spokesperson Aleem Siddique told CNA that Eide returns on Wednesday and ‘plans to meet with the two negotiators and President Anastasiades tomorrow (Thursday).’ The leaders’ meeting will take place on Monday 28 March at 10 AM” according to CNA.
