Tzanakopoulos: Greece Opens the Schools at the Same Conditions They Were Before Their Closing

ATHENS — "The government opens the schools at exactly the same conditions they were when it closed them the previous times," stated SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance central committee secretary Dimitris Tzanakopoulos said to ANT1 TV on Monday adding that "it has done nothing to support the education staff and reduce the number of pupils in the classrooms and guarantee their safety".

"On the self tests, he said they can be used as a supplementary means and not as the main means for the tracing of the pandemic".

Tzanakopoulos also added that every opening of activities "bears a huge risk as the government does not assume substantial measures to strengthen the National Health System and the protection of the public health".
