Two Light Quakes Shake the Island of Samos

ATHENS — Two tremors measuring 4.3 and 4.2 on the Richter scale jolted the island of Samos on Wednesday.

According to the Geodynamics Institute of the Athens National Observatory, the first quake was recorded at 14:14 and its epicentre was located 41 km north-northeast of Samos and 290 km east of Athens. A second quake followed two minutes later with its epicentre in the sea region 28 km north-northeast of Samos and 281 km east of Athens.
