ATHENS – Two concerts featuring works by composer Mikis Theodorakis for the promotion of modern Greek culture took place on December 12 and 13 in Stockholm and Gothenburg, Sweden, respectively, with the Greek National Tourist Organisation (GNTO) as a major sponsor, according to an announcement on Monday.

The concerts were organised by Medelhavets Produktion & Events at the Göta Lejon Theater in the Swedish capital (1,100 seats) and at the Lisebergs Teatern in Gothenburg (510 seats), as part of the celebration of the 200th anniversary of the Greek Revolution.
