Twelve Refugees and Migrants and a Dead Woman Located on Samos Beach

SAMOS, Greece – The Coast Guard located twelwe migrants and refugees on the beach of Kokkari, Samos island.

According to the refugees, a 65-year-old woman that was also a passenger on the dinghy that brought them to Samos died during the trip. Her death is attributed to health-related reasons.

Two Coast Guard vessels are searching the area to locate the trafficker who, according to testimony, jumped into the water to escape arrest.
