Turkish Jet Flies over Agathonissi, Infringes Greek Airspace

ATHENS – A Turkish Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) entered the Athens FIR without submitting flight plans and infringed Greek national airspace. The UAV flew over the island of Agathonossi at 00:30 on Wednesday at 19,000 feet.

The Turkish UAV was recognised and intercepted according to international rules and standard practice.
