Turkish Drone Infringes Greek Airspace; Flies over Kinaros

ATHENS – A Turkish drone on Wednesday entered the Athens Flight Information Region (FIR) without submitting flight plans and infringed Greece’s national airspace. The UAV flew over the islet of Kinaros at 02:56 on Wednesday, at a height of 18,000 feet.

The Turkish UAV was recognised and intercepted according to international rules and standard practice, the Hellenic National Defence General Staff said.
