Turkish Drone Infringes Greek Airspace; Flies over Kinaros

ATHENS – A Turkish drone late on Sunday entered the Athens Flight Information Region (FIR) without submitting flight plans and infringed Greece’s national airspace. The UAV flew over the islet of Kinaros at 23:39 on Sunday, at a height of 19,000 feet.

The Turkish UAV was recognised and intercepted according to international rules and standard practice, the Hellenic National Defence General Staff said.
