Turkish Drone Flies over Kandelioussa

ATHENS – A Turkish UAV drone on Thursday entered the Athens Flight Information Region without submitting a flight plan and violated Greek airspace.

The drone flew over the islet of Kandelioussa, west of the island of Nisiros, at 19,000 feet at 09:57, the Hellenic National Defence General Staff announced.

The Turkish drone was recognised and intercepted according to interantional rules.
