Turkey Announces Naval Drills in the Eastern Mediterranean on October 27-29

ANKARA. Turkey announced a series of naval drills to be carried out in the Eastern Mediterranean on October 27, 28 and 29.

The Turkish naval forces' Antalya Hydrography station broadcast three Navtex text messages for naval drills, of which two concern maritime areas east of the island of Kastelorizo within Turkish waters in the Phoenicia region, while the third concerns waters off the coastal city of Iskenderun.
