November 16, 2022

TROY, NY – The Trojan AHEPA Chapter 306 held its fourth annual Souvlaki Fest on November 5 at St. Basil Greek Orthodox Church in Troy, NY. The AHEPA Brothers and many volunteers from the St. Basil’s community spent hours preparing for the Fest and were rewarded with a beautiful fall day. Food included pork and chicken souvlaki, gyro, pastitsio, moussaka, spanakopita, rice pilaf, Greek salad, baklava, floyieres, and rice pudding. A huge turnout led to a record year with a 70% increase in gross sales year over year. The proceeds from the event will fund Chapter 306’s charitable, philanthropic programs, and scholarship programs in 2023.
