Tremor Measuring 5.2 Richter Shakes Sitia, Crete

ATEHNS — An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale was recorded on Monday at 07:11 in the sea region 350 km southeast of Athens, the Geodynamic Institute of the National Observatory of Athens said.

Its epicentre is 47 km north-northeast of Sitia, Crete.

Earlier, another tremor measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale shook the same area.
