Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
PATRAS — A Patras urban railway train derailed on Thursday morning at the Aghios Andreas railway station, while no injuries have been reported so far.
According to sources, the train derailed for unknown reason shortly after departing from the station with five passengers on board, heading for Kaminia station.
Crews are at the site of the accident to remove the train from the tracks while the train services have been interrupted.
An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the derailment.
