NEW YORK –Town & Country Editor-in-Chief Stellene Volandes was recently featured in an interview on the Zeus + Dione website in which she mentioned Macrene Actives among the beauty products she “can’t live without.”

Greek-American Volandes specifically pointed out “Dr. Macrene Alexiades secret serum,” among her three essential beauty products, in the Zeus + Dione interview.

Macrene Actives High Performance Serum is made with USDA Certified Organic ingredients, and is plant-based, vegan, gluten-free, paraben-free, phthalate-free, sulfate-free, fragrance-free, acrylate-free, glycol-free, mineral oil-free, petrolatum-free, animal byproduct-free, mica-free, talc-free, silicone-free, packaged in glass, and made in the USA.

The serum soothes, hydrates, firms, and evens skin tone while helping to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Brooklyn-native Volandes, originally Styliani Volianitis, spoke with The National Herald in March 2019 about her work and her Greek heritage. She was named editor-in-chief of Town & Country magazine on March 8, 2016. Before her appointment at Town & Country, Volandes had been style director at the magazine since March 2012, shaping the fashion and society features each month in a role that gave her a significant hand in developing the magazine’s journalistic range and stable of contributors. Prior to being named style director, she served as jewelry and accessories director since April 2011.

Before that, Volandes was style editor for Departures magazine, where she assigned and edited all fashion and jewelry features, having held increasingly senior roles since 2003.

A graduate of Vassar College with a Master’s degree in English and Comparative Literature from Columbia University, Volandes is also a published author. Her book, Jeweler: Masters, Mavericks, and Visionaries of Modern Design, was published on September 20, 2016 by Rizzoli. Her next book, titled Jewels That Made History: 101 Stones, Myths, and Legends, also published by Rizzoli, is due out in October.
