TNH Celebrating Women in March- Laura Neroulias Bisiotis, Founder of LΩRA PR

February 26, 2024

NEW YORK – In honor of Women’s History Month in March and International Women’s Day March 8, The National Herald is celebrating the women who are making a difference in the community, beginning with Laura Neroulias Bisiotis, Founder of LΩRA PR and Founding President of the Cypriot Young Professionals of the Cyprus-U.S. Chamber of Commerce, who inspires us with her vision, her energy, and her work ethic.

In working with Greek and Cypriot clients as well as non-Greek ones, she told TNH: “I got this balance from my father, Colonel Andonios Neroulias – watching him work hard for so many years in New York City and then on his off time, hosting monthly networking events as the President of the American Hellenic Institute (AHI) since 2001 to his retirement in 2016, which had a huge loyal following. He helps so many Greeks and Cypriots who want to make it in the States (they would literally get off the plane and come to my dad’s events with printed resumes) – he also was very involved in my Greek School at the Greek Orthodox Church of Our Saviour in Rye, NY, he was my Principal and continues to be on the School Board.”

Laura Neroulias Bisiotis is a goal-oriented individual with strong leadership capabilities and team playing expertise. Working in the public relations and marketing field for two decades, she has successfully launched new hotel, real estate developments and food and beverage concepts, conceptualized and executed corporate events, generated continuous awareness and press for her clients, worked with global fashion and lifestyle brands, and expanded her clients’ footprint through the right partnerships and influential strategies. Providing overall branding and business growth guidance, as well as sound leadership and strategic marketing direction, she is a partner, a friend, and a problem solver – always working side-by-side with her clients and team to determine the right path forward.

Based in the United States (with offices in Miami and New York) and Cyprus, she created LΩRA PR in 2022, deepening her dedication to the world of 360-degree public relations, marketing, networking and consultancy.  Focusing on, Food & Beverage, Hospitality & Tourism, Real Estate & Development, Non-Profit, Celebrities & Events, Fashion & Accessories, Home & Design, Law, Technology, and all things Hellenic, Cypriot, and Lifestyle, LΩRA is about value of relationships and her clients’ needs, each having their individual approach.

With an eclectic rolodex of lifestyle clients, over the years she has developed strategic public relations plans and campaigns, negotiated budgets and marketing deals, worked with celebrities, curated creative partnerships within various industries, and has taken on any digital or social media challenge. From global corporations to small business operations, Laura has worked with The Ritz-Carlton, Hilton, Marriott, The Kardashians, Paris Hilton, The CB Concepts with Chef Christos Bisiotis, 1 Hotels, New Balance, Booking.com, New York Fashion Week, Kipling, Forever 21, Vera Wang, Zuma Miami, Art Basel Miami, The Snow Lodge (Aspen), Chip City Cookies, MR CHOW, as well as several Cyprus and Greece based/focused clients including, Costa Navarino, Cyprus Children’s Fund, Greek Children’s Fund, Stray Dog Wild Gin (World’s First Greek Gin), Marketing Greece, Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry, AmCham Cyprus, Saint Basil Academy, and more.

Cyprus has always been very near and dear to her heart and continues to be of importance within her daily life. In 2013, Laura was the Founding President of the, Cypriot Young Professionals (CYP) of the Cyprus-U.S. Chamber of Commerce, a role that combined her love of country and creating a home of opportunities for the “next generation” of Cypriots to share ideas and genuinely grow professionally and personally through real impactful programs, career mentorship, leadership dinners, networking events, and fundraisers. During her time as President, she met with numerous high level representatives and industry leaders, and implemented several initiatives such as monthly networking events that highlighted and celebrated individual and group successes of Young Pros in all industries, round-table discussions regarding developing business opportunities for the island of Cyprus and launched the CYP Mentor Program (designed to provide an opportunity for students and inspiring professionals to work with a mentor, an established professional with years of experience, in their field). Over ten years have passed since CYP’s inauguration and its founding members now do business together and continue to support each other, proving that building a focused and strong foundation can last generations.

Laura is also the Founder of ‘Greeks in South Florida’ which promotes Hellenism between Miami, Broward and Palm Beach Counties in Florida (USA), is a member of the Hellenic Professional Women (based in the USA), the Daughters of Penelope, and to this day, continues to be a published author and a speaking head within many Greek and Cypriot-focused media outlets.

She will be taking part in the Cyprus Diaspora Forum, moderating the opening panel discussion on March 6, titled ‘The Role of the Diaspora’ focusing on the Cypriot Diaspora and their role as Cyprus’ Brand Ambassadors abroad, while contributing to the island’s economic growth. “Aside from preserving and promoting cultural traditions, Cypriots in the diaspora can influence Cyprus’ economy in a variety of ways, including foreign direct investment, entrepreneurial endeavors, trade facilitation, and knowledge/skill transfer,” she noted.
