Three Serious COVID-19 Cases to Be Transferred From Albania to Greece

IOANNINA — The Greek state on Tuesday gave the green light for the transfer of three Albanians belonging to the country's Greek minority, who have fallen seriously ill with coronavirus, to Ioannina University hospital in Greece.

One of the patients is from the region of Himare and is in critical condition, while the second is a teacher from Livadhja with serious respiratory difficulties and the third is a doctor from Derviçan.

The healthcare system in Albania, especially in the areas where the Greek minority live, is seriously struggling.
