Three Consecutive Earthquakes Jolt Crete on Friday Evening

ATHENS – Three consecutive earthquakes jolted the island of Crete shortly after 20:00 on Friday evening.

Over ten minutes, three quakes registering 3.3, 3.9 and 3.1 on the Richter scale shook the area southeast of Arkalochori at a focal depth of 5 km.

No damages or injuries have so far been reported.
