Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
ATHENS – “Eighty-one percent of the police officers are vaccinated or have certificates of recovery. Theodorikakos said that according to the figures of the Greek Police headquarters, 75 percent of the police officers were fully vaccinated, six percent have been infected and three percent got the first dose of a vaccine by December 2. Those who are not yet considered fully vaccinated (i.e. 14 days after completing vaccination) are required to do two rapid tests a week.
“The citizens should feel completely safe,” he said, adding that from Monday 10,000 police officers will be conducting checks to ensure compliance of the rules against the pandemic.
