The Countdown to Christmas Is on at the SNFCC!

ATHENS – For many people, there’s a sight or a smell or a sound that signals that the holidays are here. If you live in Athens, chances are the sight of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) decked out in thousands of lights is one of those sights.

On December 1 at 19:00 (EET) Christmas will come alive at the SNFCC, in a celebration that will kick off with the illumination of the plane trees along the Canal and the fir trees in the Agora and will continue with Christmas music and carols by ONIRAMA and EL Sistema Greece and a show from the Dancing Fountains.

This is only the beginning of a whole month full of magic: Christmas stories, ice skating, concerts, melomakarona and mulled wine. The festivities culminate on December 31, with the New Year’s Eve SNF RUN: 2022 FIRST RUN, spectacular fireworks, and a DJ party.

Check out the detailed program of events at www.SNFCC.org

The SNFCC Christmas World comes alive through an exclusive grant from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF). All activities and events offer either free admission or affordable tickets.
