Greek-American James A. Koshivos, 21, Killed after Car Plunged into Ocean
FALMOUTH, MA – The police in Falmouth have identified the victim in an accident involving a car plunging into the ocean on February 20, NBC10 Boston reported.
The National Young Adult League (YAL) Conference is taking place June 30 to July 4, 2022, in New York City in conjunction with the Clergy-Laity Congress celebrating the 100-year anniversary of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America.
This year’s conference will take place at the New York Marriott Marquis in Times Square, located at 1535 Broadway on the corner of 46th Street.
Young adults from around the nation will gather to network in a four-day combination of events and activities. The conference will kickstart with talks from speakers, panels, as well as discussions, and networking opportunities for those attending.
Within the series of events there will be a Night Comedy Show at Anemos featuring entertainers like Basile, Ellen Karris, Gus Constantellis, and Arianna Papalexopoulos. There will be a fun day at the beach with games and music at Long Branch Beach.
Other events include Greek Night at Kyma, one of NYC’s premier Greek restaurants, sunset boat cruise in the New York harbor with scenic views of the Manhattan skyline, Sunday night Gala featuring a live band, and the consecration of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church & National Shrine.
