ATHENS – The Athens Cannabis Expo 2020 opened its doors to visitors. The event took place from January 10 to 12 1 in Athens – specifically in the coastal area of Faliro in the Tae Kwon Do stadium.

“Cannabis exhibitions are not something new in Europe and the rest of the world, due to the fact that they are taking place in many countries the last years, with a vast number of exhibitors from the scientific and commercial sectors. The visitors are in the thousands with great interest due to the fact that the exhibitions are not only B2B but also B2C,” according to a press release.

“Our goal is to inform the visitors of all the products and the innovations that exist in the cannabis sector worldwide and also all the latest achievements as far as the medical, pharmaceutical and industrial uses of cannabis are concerned. Of course the exhibition also provides many investment opportunities for whoever wants to be occupied with this subject due to the fact that there will be great participation of foreign companies with many years of experience in this sector,” the event organizers claim.

With a rich lecture program, parallel to the main event, the organizers wanted to increase the public awareness on the advantages of cannabis and to inform whoever is interested how to make the most of it.

ATHENS — Greece's coast guard on Monday prevented at least 590 migrants from illegally entering the country's waters in the eastern Aegean Sea from neighboring Turkey in assorted vessels, authorities said.
