The 18th Biennial National Philoptochos Children’s Medical Fund Luncheon, Nov. 6

INDIANAPOLIS, IN – Under the High Patronage of His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America, and with the spiritual blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan Nicholas of Detroit, the Metropolis of Detroit Philoptochos is honored to host the 18th Biennial National Philoptochos Children’s Medical Fund Luncheon on Saturday, November 6, reception 11 AM, lunch 12 PM, at the Indiana Roof Ballroom, 140 West Washington Street in Indianapolis.

The event benefits children who have been afflicted with life threatening diseases. Greek Orthodox Ladies Philoptochos National President Arlene Siavelis Kehl and Metropolis of Detroit Philoptochos President and Luncheon Chair Theone Dickos noted via email that “the Children’s Medical Fund Luncheons have raised more than $4.3 million, and it is our fervent prayer that this year’s Luncheon will be an outstanding success, so that we may continue our ministry to God’s children.”

“We are delighted that this event will be taking place in Indianapolis. The Metropolis of Detroit Philoptochos Board and its Chapters are working together with love, and along with the National Board, to ensure the continued success of this Luncheon,” they said.

The event will also highlight twelve Grant Recipients and features guest speaker Mike Emanuel, Fox News Chief Washington Correspondent. This year’s honoree is Pam Argyris, the 2019 Luncheon Chair.
