Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
ATHENS – The maximum temperature in parts of eastern mainland Greece, including Attica, are forecast to drop by over five degrees centigrade on Monday due to cold air sweeping across the southern Balkans from a low-pressure region over Belarus and Ukraine, according to the National Observatory of Athens weather service meteo.gr.
This is forecast to bring colder temperatures, stronger northerly winds and unsettled weather with showers and storms in the northeast, Halkidiki, eastern Thessaly, the North Aegean and Evia. By the afternoon these are expected to subside significantly and will be restricted to Thrace and Eastern Macedonia.
