Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
ATHENS — The body of a missing 53-year-old taverna owner in Kantza north of Athens was found in a forested area in the northern suburb of Agia Paraskevi on Tuesday.
The man was face down and had a shot-inflicted wound, police said. He was recognized by a relative.
A disappearance report had been filed with police by his relatives and a "missing alert" sent out on Monday, after his brother found a note in which he left his assets to him.
