SYRIZA’s Iliopoulos: The Government’s Choices Lead Society to Insecurity

October 13, 2020

ATHENS — "Τhe government's choices lead society to insecurity," stated main opposition SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance spokesperson Nassos Iliopoulos on Tuesday regarding the management of the pandemic, noting that the public health system is at its limits.

He said that there was no time to waste and referred to SYRIZA's proposals and specifically to the "immediate requisitioning of all private ICUs" and "mass tests", "the substantial involvement of the primary health care" and "mass hirings to the national health system"."Only one person is responsible for the tragedy that threatens us: [Prime Minister Kyriakos] Mitsotakis and the choices of his government," he said.

In the streets of Athens you can hear conversations in dozens of languages and the ferries destined for the famed and wonderful Cyclades island are already filled with visitors from all over the world.
