SYRIZA Accuses Greek Govt of Not Assuming Responsibility

ATHENS — "As far as it concerns personal responsibility, government officials deny any such responsibility," main opposition SYRIZA party said on Saturday.

In a statement, SYRIZA accused the government of avoiding any responsibility while the situation in the health sector is out of control.

SYRIZA referred to yesterday's statement by Alternate Health Minister Vassilis Kontozamanis.

When asked about deaths outside ICUs which have reached 80%, Kontozamanis bluntly accused doctors.

"Whilst in the past they were applauding doctors, they are now ready to incriminate them for the thousands of deaths," SYRIZA said adding that this proves once again that this government is dangerous and cannot organise the society's defence against the pandemic.
