Suspension of Pilgrimages to Mt. Athos Extended Until April 15

MT. ATHOS — The deputy governor of the Mount Athos monastic community has extended a suspension of pilgrimages to the peninsula until April 15, the foreign ministry announced on Wednesday.

Additionally, anyone wishing to enter the monastic community must undergo precautionary checks at the ports of entry.
