Suspected Arsonists of Moria Arrested, Greek Citizen Protection Min Announces

ATHENS — "The arsonists of Moria are being detained. Five young foreign nationals were arrested while another, who has been identified, is still at large," stated Citizen Protection Minister Michalis Chrisochoidis on Tuesday from Mytilene, on the island of Lesvos.

Chrisochoidis congratulated the police officers on Lesvos and noted that "the arrests disprove the scenarios of the extremists."


ATHENS - Culture Minister Lina Mendoni referred to the recent claims of the British Museum for the Sculptures of the Parthenon, speaking on Tuesday to 'Parapolitika' radio station.
