Sunday of Orthodoxy in Paris

PARIS – The Great Feast of the Sunday of Orthodoxy was celebrated solemnly in Paris despite concerns about the outbreak of coronavirus in the French capital.

Metropolitan Emmanuel of France presided over the Divine Liturgy having as concelebrants Bishops Irineos of Rigion and Maximos of Melitini, as well as many priests, who represented members of Bishops’ Conference of France (Ecumenical Patriarchate, Patriarchate of Antioch, Patriarchate of Romania). The ambassador of Greece and representatives of the Embassies of Cyprus and Ukraine were also present.
