Sunday of Orthodoxy Celebrated at St. Thomas in Cherry Hill, NJ

CHERRY HILL, NJ – The first Sunday of Great and Holy Lent, the Sunday of Orthodoxy, was celebrated at St. Thomas Greek Orthodox Church in Cherry Hill, NJ. Presiding priest of the community Fr. Avgoustinos Psomas led the services which included the procession of the icons.

The community noted that it was such a great blessing that the youth, holding their icons, gathered together on the first Sunday of our Great and Holy Lent to commemorate the restoration of the icons by processing inside the beautiful church.

They wished everyone the best for the remaining Lenten season of Sarakosti and for a happy Pascha, and looked forward to seeing everyone next year at the annual commemoration.
