Strong Rain and Winds Forecast in Coming Days

The rainy weather that has affected many parts of Greece since the start of the week is expected to continue and spread in the coming days, the National Meteorological Service announced on Wednesday, while the phenomena may include storms, hail and very strong winds.

Rain is forecast in all areas of the Greek mainland from the afternoon, while the wet weather will continue at intervals on Thursday in central Macedonia, especially Halkidiki, Thessaly, the Sporades islands and Evia. Other mainland areas, including Attica, will mainly have rain from the afternoon and evening.

On Friday, the rain will fall mainly in the afternoon and evening on the mainland (possibly also in Attica) and in the Sporades islands and northern Aegean.
