ATHENS — More than 4,000 enterprises have already applied for the Gefyra II programme offering state subsidies for business loans, Finance Minister Christos Staikouras said on Friday.

The Greek FinMin said that a total of 4,160 individual entities had finalised their applications to the new programme by Thursday, of which 2,468 were very small enterprises, 1,147 were self-employed individuals or single-person companies, 479 were small enterprises and 66 were medium-sized enterprises.
