St. Thomas Cherry Hill Community Honors Graduates and GOYA

CHERRY HILL, NJ – St. Thomas Greek Orthodox Church in Cherry Hill, NJ, hosted a lunch in honor of all of their high school and college graduates on June 5. Presiding priest of the community Fr. Avgoustinos Psomas gave each graduate a gift and the community heard about their accomplishments and future plans. The community also celebrated the St. Thomas youth in GOYA who participated in the Metropolis of New Jersey’s GOYA Olympics on Memorial Day weekend. The program concluded with AHEPA, St. Irene’s Philoptochos, Hellenic Heritage Dance Group, and the Danielle Kousoulis Scholarship fund announcing their scholarship recipients. All proceeds from the beautiful occasion benefited the St. Thomas iconography fund. The St. Thomas Hellenic Heritage Dance Group also donated $20,000 for an icon in memory of their late instructor Mrs. Klio Kokolis.
