St. Luke’s Greek School End of the Year Celebration in Broomall, PA

BROOMALL, PA – The St. Luke Greek School in Broomall, PA, held the annual end of the year program on June 4. The theme was ‘Πανηγύρι’ in different areas of Greece.

The students presented poems, songs, dances, and traditions that made everyone feel as if they were in Greece. Awards were given to students for perfect attendance and to those who excelled in their studies.

Greek School Administrative Director Angelique Messari Demetris presented Academic Director Yianna Dimos with flowers to thank her for her vision and her many contributions to improving the school.

Rev. Fr. Christ Kontos and Presvytera Michele Kontos were in attendance and enjoyed spending time with the Greek School family.

The Greek School PTO prepared a nice meal and everyone enjoyed some fellowship. PTO President Betsy Georgelos, along with Stacie Haselidis, Patricia Karalis and their committee decorated the hall and paid attention to every detail.
