Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
BROOMALL, PA – St. Luke Greek Orthodox Church in Broomall, PA, hosted its 47th annual Greek festival, known as ‘The Greek Affair.’ Fr. Christ Kontos extolled the hard work of festival chairman Alexi Sioutis and the countless men and women of every age who offered their labor of love for their beloved spiritual haven, St. Luke Church. “With gratitude for over 10,000 individual sweets prepared by our Ladies Philoptochos to the tremendous leadership of John Solomon in the kitchen and the countless souls who offered their labor of love quietly in the background, we are blessed,” said Fr. Kontos. “It was particularly evident how many new and younger parishioners were involved this year, paving the way for its continued growth for years to come.”
