Songwriter and Stand-Up Comedian Tzimis Panousis Dies, Aged 64

ATHENS – Greek singer, songwriter and standup comedian Tzimis Panousis died suddenly of a heart attack on Saturday, at the age of 64. He was rushed to Erythros Stavros hospital in Athens where doctors failed to rescuscitate him.

Panousis had collapsed on stage during a show in early December and had been taken to hospital, where he had stayed for a few days.


ATHENS - Greece confirmed 19,075 new coronavirus infections in the last 24 hours, with 62 of these identified at entry points to the country, the National Public Health Organization (EODY) said on Monday.
