Snowfall in Athens From Monday Night Until Tuesday Evening

ATHENS — The second phase of the cold front Medea will bring snowfall in the centre of Athens from Monday night until Tuesday evening, the meteo service of the Athens National Observatory said.

Snow will fall from noon on Monday in east Central Greece and the Peloponnese, and in parts of Crete, even those at with altitudes even on Crete as well as the mountains of the northern Cyclades islands.

Strong northerly winds will reach 9 on the Beaufort scale in the Aegean and finally, temperatures will continue to be very low, even falling below -15C, in Western Macedonia and in mountainous areas.
