SNF Partner Joins International Discussions on Inclusion

ATHENS — The Association of Social Responsibility for Children and Youth (SKEP), a Greek nonprofit that seeks to promote social integration and equal opportunity for people with disabilities, will take part in the 14th session of the UN Conference of States Parties to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

On June 17, SKEP Founder and President Athena Kritikou will participate in a roundtable discussion on “Right to education: challenges with inclusive education and accessibility during COVID – 19.”

The Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) has supported SKEP’s work conducting educational programming around disability in Greek schools and using art to build connections between children from all backgrounds. The day before the UN roundtable, SKEP’s Director of Strategy, Coordination and Communication will be joining an SNF DIALOGUES Clubhouse discussion on issues of access and visibility for people with disabilities in public space and urban environments.
