SNF Mentions TNH’s Report on the Feasibility Study for the St. Demetrios School in Astoria

NEW YORK – The National Herald in an article reports on the development of a feasibility study that the Stavros Niarchos Foundation is considering supporting as part of a potential grant to the Saint Demetrios Greek American School in Astoria, Stavros Niarchos Foundation says on its webpage.

The SNF has supported the historic school in the past through a number of grants including among others the support for a scholarship program, support for academic department heads and the establishment a professional development program.

As the article notes, the feasibility study intends to explore the opportunities available for the efficient management and operation of the school, in a manner that it would contribute towards its sustainability.
