Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
ATHENS – In a recent interview, Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) Co-President Andreas Dracopoulos touched on a range of issues, from the pandemic and the lessons it has taught us to SNF’s close ties with Laconia and the Foundation’s systematic efforts to strengthen the region. He also shared his personal viewpoint, showing how we can all strive for less talk and more action.
Among other topics, he discussed the moral obligation we have toward young people to support cultural resources, as well as his own attitude to life, which is reflected in the Foundation’s work. “The more you have, the greater your responsibility to contribute, in any way you can, to ensure a healthier and fairer world.”
