Skrekas: Europe Must Make Decisions Now

September 9, 2022

BRUSSELS – Environment and Energy Minister Kostas Skrekas on Friday pointed out the need for the implementation of a “comprehensive and cohesive plan” to support the households and the enterprises, at his arrival for the EU Energy Ministers Council meeting in Brussels.

“Today the EU Energy Ministers’ Council is called upon to take decisions to support households and the enterprises against an unprecedented energy crisis affecting Europe. We are at a crucial crossroads. Either we will manage to implement a comprehensive and cohesive plan to support households and enterprises, or give in to the blackmail and aims of authoritarian leaders. Europe should take decisions now,” Skrekas said.
