Ships Docked at Piraeus Port due to 24h Strike

ATHENS – No ferries will sail from the port of Piraeus between 00:01 on Tuesday until midnight due to a 24-hour strike declared by the seamens’ unions.

The unions demand the withdrawal of the new code of private maritime law and the renewal and implementation of collective labour contracts with increases in wages.
