Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
ATHENS – The foreign ministries of a great many countries have sent their best wishes for Greece’s March 25 Independence Day holiday to Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias and the foreign ministry, diplomatic sources said on Friday.
In addition to Cyprus, messages were sent by the United States, India, European Union member-states, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, countries in Africa and Latin America and countries in Greece’s immediate neighbourhood, such as North Macedonia.
According to the sources, these messages are proof that the overtures to countries with which Greece previously had minimal contact were starting to produce results, while at the same time strengthening relations with both old and new partners and allies.
