Seven Greeks from Nursing Home Hospitalised with COVID-19 in Thessaloniki

THESSALONIKI — Seven elderly people from a nursing home in Thessaloniki are being hospitalised at Papanikolaou hospital's clinic for COVID-19. The elderly that are suffering from other health problems were rushed to hospital after being found positive with COVID-19, an announcement said.

Professor of infectious diseases and Health Ministry's spokesman for COVID-19 Professor Sotiris Tsiodras and the general secretary for Civil Protection Vassilis Papageorgiou will depart for Thessaloniki at Deputy Civil Protection and Crises Management Minister Nikos Hardalias' orders.
